Crochet Mat - Square Motifs

Hello!
I ended up with 1-2 balls of scrap crochet thread balls after earrings mania was over! And I really didnt know what to do with them. I didnt like them lying around in my yarn sack. They seemed to talk to me, shouting for help.. haha, not exactly.
So I used a square motif design and kept on adding these motifs while making each of them. Soon I had a crochet mat ready, that too multicoloured. Hope you like it! Do write and let me know.

Chunky Knit Style - Cowl Pattern

Hi guys,
How have you been! So its almost summer here. I visited Cornwall last month, and got a chance to visit the famous Cornwall Market. I really loved the wool styles there. One of them is what I have used for a very simple cowl. I made this in flat 5 hours. The pattern is a simple one and because of the shaded nature of the wool, it gave quite a depth to the design.
