Crochet Mat - Square Motifs

Hello!
I ended up with 1-2 balls of scrap crochet thread balls after earrings mania was over! And I really didnt know what to do with them. I didnt like them lying around in my yarn sack. They seemed to talk to me, shouting for help.. haha, not exactly.
So I used a square motif design and kept on adding these motifs while making each of them. Soon I had a crochet mat ready, that too multicoloured. Hope you like it! Do write and let me know.

Chunky Knit Style - Cowl Pattern

Hi guys,
How have you been! So its almost summer here. I visited Cornwall last month, and got a chance to visit the famous Cornwall Market. I really loved the wool styles there. One of them is what I have used for a very simple cowl. I made this in flat 5 hours. The pattern is a simple one and because of the shaded nature of the wool, it gave quite a depth to the design. A very simple romantic lacy pattern for shawls, stoles, throws. it grows fast as there are more chains. Design is light so you can wrap it up with ease. the color chosen here is light yellow.
