Chunky Knit Style - Cowl Pattern

Hi guys,
How have you been! So its almost summer here. I visited Cornwall last month, and got a chance to visit the famous Cornwall Market. I really loved the wool styles there. One of them is what I have used for a very simple cowl. I made this in flat 5 hours. The pattern is a simple one and because of the shaded nature of the wool, it gave quite a depth to the design. Here is a sneak look! Enjoy. Do write back on how it looks and if you need any more information around it.

Take care, enjoy the summer!

Crochet IPad cover - inspired by crocodile stitch!

Hi all,
after a long back... hope my designs do justice. Life has been busy with a toddler and office. As I try to strike a balance everyday, Crochet helps me to break the tension, gives me peace when I create something... Crochet moms would agree. So here it is, IPad cover, simple and chic.. Enjoy!

Crochet Stole Pattern #9

A round stole, yes, thats the pattern which I bring to you this week. There can be many different ways to carry that, I will show one of them on the model.
The design will start from a circular chain which should be measured on your body to fit it correctly. It can then grow in same circular row fashion. Closeups of the design will give an idea of chains and dcs.

The below picture showcases one of the ways to wear round stole! Of course, you can invent yours too..

Crochet Top Pattern #7

The seventh pattern that i talk about today is a furry top, this is a simple wrap created with fur wool, crochet hook size 4. The idea is to make a rectangle such that it fits you when wrapped around. Once the rectangle is ready, you need to join the adjacent sides such that it creates a V in front. Now this one is for the winters! You can use the same logic to make lighter pattern and wrap it around.. Cheers!
You can order this top here by clicking below.
Etsy

Pattern
Row 1 - 100 ch as base
Row 2 - dc on each chain
Row 3, Row 4, ... - repeat row 2 till the rectangular wrap fits you around

How to Wrap -
I have shown the method to wrap the rectangle using a cloth, hope that makes sense and helps you in stiching the final piece.

Crochet Jacket Pattern #6

I bring to you what i call Doily Jacket! Just for a reason that it starts as a doily and is extended to make arm holes, the upper portion is turned to become collars!
My mistake in this pattern was i used a thick wool, this resulted in bigger gaps in designs than that i had thought of. So guys, please choose thinner wool if your design has lot of gaps!

Crochet Shawl Pattern #5

Hola! Today's pattern posting is of a triangle shawl that starts as a small circle/triangle and grows on two sides of the triangle.. If the two sides keep growing in every row, we come down to a V shawl. This can be worn on anything, on any occassion ( looks pretty decent!)
I worked on a matching edging of this shawl looking at edge designs available on internet. This looked similar to the shawl pattern and added more grace.. What do you think? Do comment!

You can also order this shawl at the link below.

Crochet Top Pattern #3

Here is the latest crochet top design I created in Dec-Jan 2013 period. Giving a closeup too for easy understanding. I would rate this sweater/top as Easy Design because of no heavy duty pattern usage! :)

You can order this woolen top here.

Wear your Crochet Style

Hi All, after a long gap, I am back again. This time, I have few patterns which were picked from existing designs on net and magazines and have given a twist to them! The picture here has few basic and intermediate designs worn by one of my acquaintances, Kendle. I am planning to put more videos on patterns creation shortly.. So visitors, do come back soon!
